Someday

She sees the sunlight in shattered rays.
It takes all but the fear away,
Of things that lurk in the day.
She knows she'll regret it if she stays.
Bitterness invades in the worst of ways.
Darkness will never turn to gray;
Even in summer it won't decay.
And she thought she knew praise.
But words seem fragile in the sun,
When tear-stained faces go in stride,
With the day hope left with the tide.
She knows the battle will never be won.
So she packs her suitcase full of hate,
And leaves a for sale sign on the gate.

Hey guys!

I just wanted to give you some quick updates on what I'm currently working on and what I'm not working on.

First, let me get the bad news out of the way. The Silent, as it has been, is still on indefinite hiatus. While it is my ultimate goal to one day finish the story, I cannot promise that it will be any time soon. Honestly, I can't even watch CSI: Miami anymore and haven't for well over a year, so I'm not even really sure what's going on there. I do eventually plan on posting everything that was posted previously elsewhere here, I just can't promise that will happen soon. I am thrilled that so many people are interested in the story, and so I do feel guilty that I've left you all hanging. I hope you understand.

And for the good news, I am currently working on a few other projects for my NASCAR audience.

- Painfully Yours: I am currently working on part two of this story. Jamie has been an ass and is taking forever to write Kasey back. But he's going to, even if I have to stand behind him with a whip while he writes it. *crack*

- Untitled Project: I am currently working on a short story involving two teammates. I will be keeping the details to myself for now, but I promise to have the story posted sometime before the new year. This project is for my secret santa at ridinxdirty, but I will be posting it here...so I guess that won't make it much of a secret... but I'd rather share my writing with everyone, not just one person.

- Missouri Boys: The epic saga of McEdwards which was originally just suppose to be a short story, but has consumed myself and others. Part two is nearly complete. Actually, it has been for a while, I've just been sitting on it. I really wanted to wait for the season to end. And then both Jamie and Carl up and got engaged on me! Way to go guys! You can't fool us. :P So yeah. I just have to polish part two up a bit and write a couple more scenes. I'm hoping to have it posted by this coming Thursday! Part three of the story will hopefully be finished by the new year, but I cannot promise that it will be. Keep your fingers crossed.

- Untitled Project II: Yes, I am currently also writing another as yet to be titled project involving another new pairing that I have not written before. For once I am trying to attempt *gasp* an upbeat story! It will be a short project and I do not have an estimated date of completion as it currently stands.

Non-NASCAR related stuff:

I have been considering posting some of my poetry. I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, but you might see one or two popping up.
